Each product, whether a kayak, a surfboard or other piece of equipment, is designed with a specific purpose. Unlike our competitors, we don’t begin by asking ourselves what the current market trends are, or whose boats are selling well and what can we do to get a piece of the commercial pie. Rather, we begin by asking ourselves: What hasn’t been done yet, and why not? What ideas spark our imaginations? What would be exciting to develop?

A Dragorossi product, from the drawing board to the outfitting, starts with: What is missing, what needs to be reinvented, and how can we do it? It’s not an easy process, and it’s certainly not a cheap one. The further you move away from what is already on the market — the further you push the design and performance envelope — the more complex the process becomes, and the greater the obstacles to be overcome. But breaking these boundaries and redefining the possible is what we at Dragorossi are about.
