The 1st principle of the system is that bracing into the kayak is achieved through the location and method of the points of contact, rather than using pressure.

The tight slick backband is replaced with a sticky angled-down support which is simply snugged against the lower back. Hip pads witch crush the hips, causing both short term and long term discomfort are replaced with support both under and over the thighs in a pincer movement. The combined effect of this system is that you’re held into the kayak without having to squeeze yourself in through massive pressure.

The 2nd part of this revolutionary system is that the entire fitting system, from backband, to thigh brace, to footrest, is all attached to the seat.
